Results

Overall results – the overall result is the total time of each contestant who fired all 11 events, including the times for the best two strings for each of the nine pin events, and the full time for each popcan/rifle event. Therefore, the numbers following each name are e the total times for all runs counted.

Best run. – All run times are counted from the time the electronic shot timer gives the start signal, until the shot timer hears the last shot that clears the last pin off the pin table. The best run of the day, to clear five bowling pins off a 4-foor by 8-foor table, from start signal to last shot, was Nate Martin at 2.80 seconds using an autoloading shotgun.

Event results – there were eleven separate events. Many participants entered one or several, but not all events. The times listed are the total of the best two of three runs on all bowling pin events, and the single run time for the five pop cans at 25 yards on the Ban Baucus Assault Rifle Event and the Bolt-action rifle event. Some people entered events more than once, hoping to improve their times (which we encouraged to raise more money for MSSA political action efforts. Here’s how folks finished by event.
