COWBOY ACTION SHOOTING
The 2008 CAS Season

| DATES: May 3, June 7, July 5, Aug 2, Sept 6&7, Oct 4. |

Place: Deep Creek Rifle range.
Directions: West of Missoula, please find and follow the Kona
Ranch Road for seven miles to the range.
|

Time: Registration at 9:00 a.m. Rounds will go down range following a short safety meeting.
Note: Attendance at the safety meeting is mandatory for all shooters.
|

Course of fire: Five stages. This is a four-gun event. Two Single action revolvers, one lever action
rifle, pistol cartridge, and one shotgun. Guns are to be pre-1900 vintage or replicas.
Ammunition: Light loads please. All cast bullets. No jacketed, half jacketed or gas checks
allowed.

Entry Fees: $15.00 per person. $5.00 for juniors. $25.00 family package. No charge for Little
Buckaroos or those who would like to try a stage or two. Come early (8:00 a.m.), help set up and take down
after the match and receive a $5.00 fee reduction. (Remember to ask for it.)

Note: The range will be open Friday afternoon after set up. There is dry camping available at the
range
should you want to come early, help set up, shoot some, and stay overnight.
